Registration is important to help us to maintain a secure community and also helps you to manage your profile easier. When you register you get a User ID (infact it's also your pet registration number) which helps to identify you to other community members around the site. So if you haven't done so yet, please register now. 

Now let's have a closer look at the fields on the registration page. 

• Your Pets Name - Your favourite pets name. Single name only please.
• Username - This name will help to identify you around the site.
• E-mail - So others can contact you.
• Password - Choose a memorable password with 6 or more characters.
• Verify Password - Verify the password again.
• City / Suburb - Your city or suburb.
• State - Your state.
• Post Code / Zip - Your postcode or zip code.
• Country - Select your country.
• Phone # - Only needed if you intend to list classifieds.

There are actually only five mandatory fields that you are required to enter to complete registration (the first five), the remaining fields are used to pre-populate forms on this site, such as listing pet classified ads. If you choose to leave these fileds blank you can always update them in your pet profile at a later date.

Finally you will have noticed a few icons on this page that will frequently appear around this site. Here is a reminder of what they mean:-

	This is a tooltip or information bubble. Move your mouse pointer over these icons to display extra information
	This is a mandatory field and is required to proceed
	This field is shown on your profile and is visible to the general public
	This field does not show on you profile and is not visible to the general public

So that's the registration page. Simply fill out the form and hit the "Send Registration" button and your account will be created automatically.
